Nanocoating - with Purocoat 17/02 UV
SE-TEC is adding to its range of protective coatings for maximum reliability of assemblies.
With the launch of its nanocoating based on Purocoat 17/02 UV, SE-TEC now offers a third highly efficient protective method alongside selective coating and potting.
The new technology closes the gap in the field of ultra-thin surface protection and creates additional reliability with minimal use of materials. We now offer you a full range of coating options, and we would be happy to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each with you individually.

Why - nano-coating?
This innovative fluoropolymer coating is applied by dipping and forms a transparent protective layer only ~500 nm thick – virtually invisible, yet highly effective.
- Reliable protection against moisture, corrosion, oil, chemicals and dirt.
- No masking necessary – contacts remain electrically accessible
- Short process time: dip, dry, done – no post-curing required
- Durable: UV-stable, resistant to ageing and temperature
- Environmentally friendly and safe: non-flammable, not hazardous to health, REACH and RoHS compliant.
